Hypnosis/hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that taps into the depths of the mind and can be utilized for a wide range of purposes, from managing stress and overcoming fears to enhancing performance and breaking undesirable habits. It can address various areas of life, including physical well-being, emotional healing, and personal development.
Hypnosis allows direct access to the subconscious mind. This is where deeper beliefs, emotions, and patterns reside, making it a potent platform for transformation. Contrary to common misconceptions, it is not about being asleep or losing control. In fact, it feels more like a deep, introspective conversation—you remain fully aware and in control throughout the process, able to accept or reject any suggestions, and you are in communication with me throughout the entirety of the session. Your subconscious mind already knows what is at the root of your issue and it also knows what you need to do to resolve it. As your hypnotherapist, I help you access this information and teach you how to do it for yourself in the future. It is a compassionate and empowering approach to achieving inner peace and freedom and reaching your highest potential. (Yes, inner peace and freedom IS possible and YOU are allowed to feel it. Yes, YOU!)
With online sessions via Zoom, all you have to do is find a comfortable spot with minimal distractions and you’re ready to get started!
What is hypnotherapy?
What is Intuitive Eating?
Intuitive eating is an approach to eating that emphasizes listening to your body’s internal hunger and fullness cues rather than adhering to external diet rules or restrictions. This philosophy encourages individuals to develop a healthier relationship with food by focusing on satisfaction, nourishment, and enjoyment instead of calorie counting or strict dietary guidelines. Research has shown that intuitive eating can lead to improved psychological well-being, including better body image, reduced anxiety and depression, and healthier attitudes towards food. It promotes weight stability rather than weight loss as the primary goal, allowing individuals to focus on overall health vs. specific numbers on a scale.
As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Katrina can guide you in either hypnotherapy or coaching sessions as you build a healthier relationship with your body and food.
What is EFT/Tapping?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or “Tapping” involves tapping with fingertips on acupressure points on the hands, face, and body while giving focused attention to uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. People often report feeling lighter, calmer, and able to breathe more easily after using this technique.
I use EFT within some hypnotherapy sessions to allow negative emotions and feelings to be processed and released from the body effectively.
